Garcia Jimenez developed his skills at the Workshop of the Torres under the guidance of Master Wichie Torres, who encouraged him to venture into the art world on an emergent and later professional level. He formally studied at the Art League of San Juan and the School of Plastic Arts. His works are part of collections in the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, the Netherlands, the United States, Paris, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.
